NEW LAVINA 13G-X PROPANE EDGER

 

    

The Lavina 13-inch walk-behind edger is now offered in a propane model! As with grinders and vacuums, electrical power is often an issue on the job site because contractors have to deal with wiring issues and generators. Propane equipment saves a lot of time in this respect, and contractors have been asking for a propane edger to complement their propane fleet. Now, they can work entirely cordless, including the edge work. The L13G-X is ideal for working around walls and edges as well as for spot repair and other small areas.

LAVINA FUEL MINDER

All Lavina Propane Grinders now come standard with the new GTX engine conversion kit called FUEL MINDER.

Fuel Minder is a new high-performance, digital fuel control system featuring closed loop feedback, fuel lock-off capability, emissions safety warnings with shutdown, and an LCD screen for user interface. It is highly responsive to changes in the engine load, providing optimum air-to-fuel ratio regardless of operating conditions, and better fuel range. The Fuel-Minder uses closed-loop feedback from the O2 sensor to control the amount of fuel introduced to the engine via the Fuel Control Valve. This technology continuously monitors engine emissions and is capable of making fuel corrections to compensate for varying engine loads and conditions. If a faulty O2 sensor is detected, the Fuel-Minder will alert the user within 3-5 minutes from a cold-start. A message will be displayed on the LCD screen to let the user know that the O2 sensor needs to be replaced. The Fuel-Minder also controls the fuel lockoff and only allows fuel to pass through if it detects the engine is cranking. Once the Fuel-Minder is powered off from the equipment key switch, the Fuel-Minder closes the fuel lockoff and shuts the engine down immediately.

3-Step Concrete Polishing System

Superabrasive has introduced a new 3-step polishing system for concrete that is effective, simple and very cost efficient!

Our 3-step system consists of three proprietary resin bond pads in progressive grit sizes that take the concrete from 120 grit to 1500 grit finish. The pads are standard 3-inch diameter with Velcro backing, and should be used dry. Before starting with step 1, the floor should be cut to 120 grit with metal or hybrid diamonds, and densified, if needed. Unlike other “3-step” systems on the market, Superabrasive’s 3-step polishing system doesn’t involve any messy chemical applications or waiting overnight, which means faster turnaround time. Compared to the standard mechanical polishing which typically requires around 5 to 6 resin steps in consecutively progressing grit size (100, 200, 400, 800, 1500), Superabrasive’s 3-step system saves contractors about 2 steps on average.
